Tailored for the most demanding operational environments, the H225LP helicopter integrates all the latest technological innovations. The two Turbomeca MAKILA 2A1 engines, the main gear box and the 5-blade rotor system give this aircraft the power for a high payload, a long range and a fast cruise speed, along with flight endurance that exceeds 5 hours and 30 minutes. This next generation aircraft effectively and efficiently executes multiple proven successful roles in contingency/expeditionary operations moving passengers and cargo, SAR/MEDEVAC/CASEVAC/PR, utility and firefighting, and tactical training in land and sea based austere environments around the world. AIRBUS AS350BE

BELL 412EP

The Bell 412EP, equipped with Twin Pac PT6T-3D engines, an all-composite four blade main rotor system, two-blade tail rotor, skid-type landing gear and dual automatic flight control systems, is the daily workhorse that reliably performs in some of the most extreme climates around the world both day and night. Its expansive cabin provides multi-mission flexibility while its wide opening 7.7 ft. doors easily accommodates forklift loadings into a spacious cabin. The aircraft can be configured for a variety of mission profiles and has a flight endurance of 3 hours 48 minutes. The Bell 412EP is a versatile platform suitable for missions from firefighting, to target recovery, to search and rescue, to tactical training as well as most all logistics operations. Our Bell 412EPs are hoist capable and cargo hook equipped.

CHARTERS

The Dassault Falcon 900 is a trijet corporate aircraft capable of nonstop transcontinental and transoceanic flights in addition to offering great versatility in flight planning. 

Three Honeywell TFE731-60 engines power the Falcon 900EX each offering 5,000 pounds of thrust and using a combined and impressive fuel consumption of 267 gallons per hour (GPH).  

The Falcon offers a unique combination of cabin comfort, mission versatility and favorable operating economics not afforded in a twinjet.   

The cabin volume for the Falcon 900EX is a voluminous 1,264 cubic feet for ample passenger comfort and legroom.

The U.S. Navy has tapped Air Center Helicopters to provide cargo transfer services between ships deployed worldwide over a potential five-and-a-half-year period.

The Burleson, Texas-headquartered airlift support provider will conduct vertical replenishment services under a $77.3 million firm-fixed-price contract from the Navy, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

Air Center Helicopters will support Combat Logistics Force ships of the T-AKE class and help meet Seventh and Fifth Fleet requirements.

The performance period is from July 31, 2024, to Jan. 30, 2030, if all contract options are exercised. In addition to a one-year base period, there are four one-year option periods and an option to extend services for up to six months.

Military Sealift Command serves as the contracting activity.

As an approved CARB air carrier, ACHI has patterned its plan on the requirements found within the audits used by DoD CARB and the defined additional standards developed for FAA Part 135 air carriers in CARB resource documents to assist in our developed programs and manuals. These include our General Operations Manual, Internal Audit Program, Safety Program, General Maintenance Manual, Fuel Audit Program, Vendor Audit Program, Contract Training Audits just to name a few.

RISK

The Air Center’s risk management program provides a structured, documented method of establishing and promoting a system of continuous improvement. The objective of this program is to proactively identify weaknesses in the company’s maintenance management systems, operational processes, pre-mission risk metrics, flight procedures, and employee training in order to target continuous improvement strategies to reduce safety risks below the maximum allowed by regulations or standards or when the risk is otherwise considered unacceptable.
